The Garment District

The Garment District is a place in Boston that has piles and piles of donated clothes and you buy clothes by the pound at $1.50 per pound. It is a little gross to search through other peoples clothes, but I love finding fun clothes within the heaps of clothes. It's like finding buried gold! Not only do they have the second hand clothes, but their upstairs is filled with vintage finds and all of the racks are labeled by the year. 50's 60's 70's, anything you're looking for! I bought my Giorgio Armani blazer there and Steve Madden heels for superrr cheap (I got the heels for about 5 cents)! I miss this place and I can't wait to go back and search for more unique finds!

Good Eats: Casey's Cupcakes

{cinnamon sugar}
{raspberry}
Delicious cupcakes, beautiful presentation, very pink and girly shop!
I visited Casey's Cupcakes in Laguna Beach and I will definitely be going back! These cupcakes were delectable and not only that, but they looked great!
You know how I love cupcakes!

Blouse & Heels

The other day when I visited The Grove, I made some fun purchases! I bought this white blouse from Forever 21 and these cute retro heels from Gap! I have been looking for a blouse that can go perfectly from day to night, and I found it! Both of my purchases were cheap! I paid around $10 for the blouse and $38 for the heels. The heels were originally $70 but my friend works there so I got 50% off! I love the retro feel and the wooden heels! Gotta love new things!

The Grove in Los Angeles

The other day my mom and I spent the whole day at The Grove in LA...
My friend Andrew from school met up with us too!
He works at Gap, so I made him take a picture in front, of course :)
We had fun walking around the Farmer's Market...
We bought some yummy old fashioned soda from a cute stand!
I was so happy to be reunited with Andrew, so I took a million pictures.
After searching among the millions of choices (the Farmer's Market has almost any kind of food you can imagine) Andrew decided on mexican food...and he got a big burrito
from Loteria! (this place is amazing)
I loved taking pictures of every moment!
Especially the funny ones.
We go to school in Boston, so we had to represent :)
I fell in love with these fun letters from Anthropologie...
...oh, and these funky glasses too.
I loved this look! I want to use vintage suitcases as a nightstand like seen here on my favorite blog.
We ran into the Jeffrey Campbell shoe section, and I thought that these cheetah ones were over the top, but still fun!
I made Andrew stop to take a picture in front of this wall because it was just too perfect!
Then we started craving a sweet treat and I'm a big fan of Nutella...
so we headed straight to the Crepe Company in the Farmer's Market
yummmmm!
I had to stop by sticker world because I am a big fan of stickers and homemade cards, something you may not know about me!
We were lucky enough to be at The Grove when there was a free concert! So fun!!
We ate outside at Morel's so we could listen to the music & eat! I ordered the French Onion Soup...
and the Macaroni and Cheese...mmmm :)
It was such a wonderful day! We shopped, ate, and enjoyed each other's company!
If you are ever in the area, The Grove is a fun place to shop, eat, and spend a day!
We almost always see someone famous whenever we go there!
P.s. I made a couple purchases, and I can't wait to share them with you soon!
XOXO

Good Eats: BLD

Yesterday my mom and I spent the day up in LA
and my voice teacher recommended that we eat at BLD.
The atmosphere was very chic and clean...
and I felt like we could have been sitting next to a movie director and we wouldn't have even known it.
My mom and I split a blueberry pancake because they are known for their pancakes
It was DELICIOUS and I loved the little can that the maple syrup came in! Too cute!
My mom ordered eggs florentine and we loved how it came in a little pot!
I ordered the raised pork and poached eggs and it was scrumptious!
What a great recommendation! I will definitely be going back soon!!
Next post I will share more photos from our day in LA! :)
Have a fabulous day!!
XOXO
