Sprinkles Ice Cream

A week or so ago my friend Emilie and I went to the opening of the Sprinkles Ice Cream store. We both share a love for Sprinkles Cupcakes, so we thought it would be appropriate to go to the opening of Sprinkles' ice cream shop. We waited in line to get our red velvet cones and it was well worth the wait! It was a perfect way to start our day :) If you are ever near Beverly Hills you must try some!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

 You know by now that I absolutely adore cupcakes,

especially Sprinkles red velvet cupcakes...

 so since I have a very sweet tooth and craved a yummy dessert,

 I made them!

 I was very happy with how they turned out...

 they may not look perfect, but they sure taste delicious!

 YUMMMM

Here is how I made them:

Ingredients

Sprinkles red velvet mix

2 eggs

1 1/2 sticks of unsalted butter

2/3 cup of milk

1 tsp of vinegar

Heat your oven to 350 and set your timer for 35 minutes.

Keep checking on them to make sure they aren't burning!

You can use the toothpick test by sticking a toothpick in the center of one of the cupcakes, and if it comes out clean, they are done!

I love this Wizard of Oz inspired cupcake!

This one is my favorite!!!

I have always had a passion for cupcakes, and amazingly decorated ones at that! Some of my favoriteee cupcakes are from Sprinkles and Isabelle's Curly Cakes! I always get a red velvet cupcake from Sprinkles (their most popular flavor) and one of my favorites from Isabelle's is the Chocolate & Peanut Butter flavor! Mmm I am craving these as I write this post!! A classic cupcake that I enjoy in New York are the vanilla cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery. I hope that you enjoy these decorated cupcakes as much as I do! Now go out and buy yourself a sweet treat :)
